A quick overview of what is Auskick

For those of you who are new to Auskick, it is a national junior development program, for primary school children. The goals of the program are:

  • To build the foundation skills for playing Australian football and to respond to the needs of children aged between 5 & 12 years.
  • To be fun & safe.
  • To be designed specifically to maximise participation, skill learning & development.
  • To be based upon rules & procedures appropriate to the children involved.
  • To involve appropriately accredited coaches.
  • To provide a logical transition from introductory level through to competitions at club &/or school.

Auskick is a community-run program. In order for the program to be successful, we need as much adult support as possible. The most important form of support you can give is to just be there with your children, and take part in the program if possible.
